The ban was announced by the Sole Administrator of the agency, FELIX OBUAH in a statement released by his Media Adviser, JERRY NEEDAM.
OBUAH warned that anyone caught burning tyres in any part of Rivers State would be arrested and prosecuted according to the law.
The statement noted that the fight against the black soot could only be won if residents and those doing businesses in the state complied with government’s directives.
