The sailors are from China, the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan.
The twenty-six sailors, who were seized on board their ship in 2012 and taken to Somalia, were freed on Saturday after a ransom was paid.
The BBC reports that the freed sailors have been recounting their ordeal in the hands of their captors, including feeding on rats and surviving on small amounts of water.
