Our correspondent SANDRA KENNETH reports that the committee stopped at Ubimini community where seven members of Deybam cult group were granted amnesty.
The amnesty beneficiaries were identified as WASA OSAH, PROMISE ODINZE, AZUNDAH ORJI, JEFFREY KENNEDY, FUTURE ASHIE, GODKNOWS AGUMA and BONIFACE ORJI.
Together; the repentant Deybam cultists surrendered four Dane guns and one single barrel gun, among other items.
The leader of the government delegation and Special Adviser to the Governor on Amnesty, KENNETH CHINDA assured people of Ubimini community of peace and development in the area.
The event took place at the palace of the Paramount Ruler of Ubimini, Eze EDI MARTHIAS IGWE.
