A 36-year-old woman, Anulika Onyeanusia, arrested in Anambra State over alleged sexual abuse of her children, has admitted receiving up to 700 dollars from sharing videos involving her eight-year-old daughter.

The woman was arrested by the police on Friday and is being investigated for alleged child pornography. Police also rescued four children, aged two, three, six and nine, from the suspect.

According to the report, police recovered sex toys and other items from the suspect’s residence in Onitsha as part of the ongoing investigation. (Premium Times Nigeria)

During questioning, Onyeanusia said she initially sent a video involving her daughter to a foreign man through WhatsApp and received payments in dollars.

She reportedly told investigators that the man sometimes paid her 300 dollars and at other times 400 dollars, with her highest earnings from the videos amounting to 700 dollars.

The suspect claimed she had seen other Nigerian women engaging in similar acts on social media, but police told her she would be expected to assist investigators in identifying others involved.

Onyeanusia also said her husband was unaware of her activities and pleaded for forgiveness, attributing her actions to what she described as the “handiwork of the devil.”

Police said investigations into the case are ongoing. (Premium Times Nigeria)
