The Paramount Ruler of Nortem-Bori Communities in Khana Local Government Area, Dr. Lenu Tsaro-Igbara, has urged residents to participate actively in the ongoing voter registration exercise. He said the exercise is essential for securing voting rights ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The monarch also called on youth leaders and community structures to intensify awareness campaigns and encouraged non-indigenes to register. He emphasized that voter participation is key to strengthening democracy and peaceful coexistence.
