Troops of the 3 Division/Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation Enduring Peace have raided a kidnappers’ hideout in Plateau State, neutralizing suspects and recovering weapons during a swift operation based on credible intelligence.
In a statement, the Acting Military Information Officer of the JTF Operation Enduring Peace, Captain Joshua Atu John, confirmed that four suspects were initially arrested during the operation.
He disclosed that items recovered from the hideout include a fabricated rifle, an axe, and a machete. Captain John said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and restore peace and security across the state.
The military assured residents of Plateau State of its continued commitment to sustaining aggressive operations against criminal elements threatening public safety.
