South African Journalists Pickets at SABC

The protest was called by the South African National Editors Forum in support of journalists who were suspended from their jobs for disagreeing with a recent editorial policy forbid the coverage of violence and the destruction of property during protests.
 
The S.A National Editors Forum accused SABC Chief Operations Officer HLAUDI MOTSOANENG of media censorship, as it requested all journalists to dress in black and join the protest.
