The Minister made the disclosure when he appeared on a live television programme when responding to a disagreement between the Nigeria Port Authority and one General Osai Osumbor whose company has been providing security on the Nigerian water ways.
The minister also disclosed that the Nigerian is number one on the level of insecutity on water ways in the world.
He however disclosed that the federal government approved one hundred and ninety five million dollars for a company that will train Nigerians to secure the water ways.
Speaking on the loan which the federal government was expecting from China for construction of trail ways the minister dismissed fears of possible looting of the money which he said will not come in cash.
