The All Progressive Congress in Rivers State has described the emergence of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the APC as part of the agenda of the party to win 2019 elections and beyond.

The Rivers APC expressed hope that skills of Oshimhole in managing individuals from diverse backgrounds, interests and aspirations will come handy in unifying the party for the task ahead of the 2019 elections.

The party Chairman, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree also hailed the leader of the party in the state and South-South, Rotimi Amaechi for the election that saw Victor Giadom emerge as the Deputy National Secretary and David Okumgba as the Zonal Secretary South-South.

Flag-Amachree believes that the political networking skills and national outlook of Amaechi who doubles as the Director General of Buhari campaign Organization led to the success of the convention and victory recorded

The APC chairman also to appealed to all APC members in the State to come together to promote a common ground with the purpose of according to him, chasing Governor Nyesom Wike out of the Brick House in 2019.

A statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Party, Chris Finebone, quoted the party chairman as cautioning who he said are causing problems in the party to have a rethink, warning that the party will henceforth begin to implement its disciplinary powers and sanctions against any erring member.
