The Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress has commended Governor Nyesom Wike for his decision to build new secretariat for NLC in the state.

The State Chairman of the NLC, Beatrice Itubo  gave the commendation in statement ahead of the foundation laying of the proposed labour House.

Governor Wike had during the 2018 May Day celebration promised to build a new labour house for the labour movement in the state.

To this end the national President of NLC, Ayuba Wabba is expected in Rivers State to conduct the flag off of the building.

The state chairman of NLC therefore called on Rivers workers to come out for the flag off of the project in appreciation of to the governor for the gesture.
