The Minister of Tertiary Education, JONATHAN MOYO, told reporters that the project was a fitting tribute to the ninety-three-year-old president’s commitment to education and his exemplary leadership.
He said the cabinet agreed to spend eight hundred million dollars on construction of the new university in Mazowe, near the capital Harare, while another two hundred million dollars has been set aside for an endowment fund for research and innovation.
