The Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Rivers State has accused one Omagima Harry of falsely parading himself as a stakeholder of the party.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr. Danagogo Wenike-Briggs, the YPP said Harry has been misrepresenting the party within the Coalition of Rivers State Political Parties.
The party clarified that it is not part of any coalition in Rivers or elsewhere and stressed that Omagima Harry is not a member at either the state or national level.
The YPP urged the public, media, and authorities to disregard any activities linking Harry to the party.
Dr. Wenike-Briggs reaffirmed the YPP’s commitment to progressive leadership, transparency, and good governance, assuring members and supporters that the party will not be distracted by impostors but will remain focused on offering credible alternatives and strengthening democratic values.
