YOUTHS IN PORT HARCOURT JOIN THEIR COUNTERPARTS TO MARK SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF ENDSARS PROTEST

The march which started from the Freedom Park along Aba Road ended in Waterlines.

A member of one the civil society groups, Enefa  Georgewill during the procession lamented over governments’ inability to prosecute airing officers of the disbanded Special anti robbery squad SARS.

He expressed worry that police brutality has continued, two years after the government disbanded the group.

Georgewill also called on the government to implement the findings of the Judicial commission of inquiry set up to investigate the activities of SARS

Today FM’S Preye Izogu  who monitored the peaceful procession reports that the protesters encouraged young people to actively participate in politics to end bad governance in the country
