Wike, who spoke during the commissioning of Government Secondary School, Kpor in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, said Ortom may have lost his bid to clinch the Senatorial seat, but he remains a winner for standing on the principle of equity, fairness, and justice.
The Governor said the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyiorchia Ayu would have resigned honorably, after leading the PDP astray.
On his part; the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom said he does not regret fighting for a southern president, despite loosing his Senatorial bid.
