Wike threatens to revoke the certificate of occupancy of Agip Oil Company.

Wike issued the threat after accusing Agip of complicity in crises within its area of operations.

He said the C-of-O will be revoked if Agip continues to act against  the security of the state.

Governor Wike made the threat at the Government House in Port Harcourt when a delegation of the  Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Area Youths Consultative Council led by Kingsley Ogumike paid him a courtesy visit.

The Rivers State governor also
called on Niger-Delta  Militants  to embrace dialogue; stressing that attacks on oil facilities were negatively  affecting  the Nigerian  economy.

He said if Nigeria’s oil production continues  to  drop, the  nation will face crisis.

Governor reminded the militants that blowing  up oil facilities  also has negative  effect  on  the environment.
