Wike Rejects Expulsion Plot, Says No One Can Remove Him from PDP

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that no individual or group has the authority to expel him from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Wike made the assertion during a meeting with members of the PDP Board of Trustees and the National Executive Council, chaired by Acting National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed.

He described himself as a founding member of the party who has made substantial contributions to its stability and growth from inception.

His remarks were in reaction to an expulsion notice issued by a faction of the party loyal to Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

Wike emphasised that internal disputes should not override the party’s constitution, adding that efforts to push him out were “unconstitutional and disrespectful” to loyal members who have kept the PDP standing.
