Recall that Governor NYESOM WIKE had initially set a target of fifteen months for the completion of the road that cut across Tai, Khana and Gokana local government areas.
But in less than two weeks from the launch of the road construction, Governor WIKE said he was now looking at completing the dual-carriage road within twelve months.
Governor WIKE said he was going to achieve the target through sustained funding to ensure that the contractors remain on site until the work in completed.
You will recall that the Sakpenwa-Bori Road was captured in the latest request by Governor WIKE for the House of Assembly to approve two tranches of loans of twelve billion naira.
The approval was granted by the Rivers State legislature on Friday last week.
