This makes it the fourteenth project to be flagged off by the state government since the anniversary activities began last month.
Governor Wike while speaking at the event said the project is a fulfilment of the promise he made to Omerelu people during the campaigns.
The Governor also directed commissioner for works to visit Igwuruta and Omagwa communities and identify projects that needs to be done to enable the state government carry out the projects.
On his part, the former Governor of Rivers state , Celestine Omehia who flagged off the project described Governor Nyesom Wike as a pace setter.
