The governor was reacting to comments credited to Ayu who had said he had the power to stop some candidates of the PDP in Benue state from contesting the election but chose not to do so.
Governor Wike who briefed newsmen in Port Harcourt today however described Ayu as ungrateful for making such comments against Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state.
Wike recalled how Ortom convinced other governors to allow Ayu become party chairman against the resolution of the governors who had agreed that the National chairman should not come from a place where any PDP governor hails from.
Governor Wike also disclosed that he dealt with Ayu when he allegedly attempted to impose a governorship candidate in Rivers state.
