Governor WIKE himself said he took the decision to dissolve the State Executive Council in consultation with the leadership of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Speaking at a church service in Ogu-Bolo yesterday, Governor said he needed to reorganize the machinery of government to move the state forward.
Governor WIKE was also quoted in a statement released by his media assistant that the action provides an opportunity to know those who are loyal and those who are not.
WIKE maintained that while he would continue to work with those who are loyal, those who are not loyal would be shown the way out.
The Rivers State Governor said it was necessary to put things in order ahead of the next dispensation, adding that there was no crack in government.
