The call was made against the backdrop of the on-going demolition of the houses at the water front areas in the state.
A Public Affairs Analyst, BORVE PAAGO who was speaking in an interview with correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA, said the renewal policy could be phased and should go in consonance with the extant laws.
PAAGO acknowledged the need for the state government to get rid of criminals, but added that the action of the government at the water front areas should be given a human face.
He stated that the seven days ultimatum given to the occupants of the area is not enough for them to find another place, considering the economic condition in the country.
