This is according to the INEC National Electoral Commissioner in charge of information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye who spoke exclusively to Today FM’s Onyekachi Nwosu on telephone.
Okoye said the commission approved the deployment of more equipment following the request from the Rivers state resident electoral commissioner, Obong Effanga.
Okoye also warned that those involved in multiple registration are engaging in an exercise in futility.
