Compared to the reaction of government to the agitation by pro-Biafra groups in the eastern parts of the country, the Federal Government is being demanded to do more than just issuing a statement denouncing the threat.
The immediate-past President of the pan-Igbo think tank group – Aka Ikenga – Chief GODDY UWAZURIKE, made the observation in a telephone interview with our correspondent.
Chief UWAZURIKE commended the Kaduna State Government for ordering the arrest of those behind the threat against Ndi-Igbo in the north.
He however cautioned that the matter should not be handled like that incident of the murder of an Igbo woman by a Muslim mob in Kaduna, of which nobody has been put on trial despite report of arrest of some culprits.
Chief GODDY UWAZURIKE is the immediate-past President of the pan-Igbo think tank group – Aka Ikenga, which is affiliated to Ohaneze Ndigbo.
