US Pledge to mobilise support from UK and France to enable the Nigerian Government address humanitarian crisis in the north-east.

U.S. Secretary of State, JOHN KERRY made the promise during a meeting with President MUHAMMADU BUHARI when he stopped over in Abuja in continuation of his tour of some African countries.

The outcome of the meeting was contained in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA.

The statement quoted JOHN KERRY saying that his country was aware that President BUHARI’s administration inherited a big problem, but assured him of America’s support.

KERRY also commended the courage of President BUHARI in fighting corruption.

President BUHARI had earlier thanked the U.S. for both hard and soft military help it was rendering to Nigeria in the war against terror.
