US departments of State under pressure following exit of top diplomats.

They include the Undersecretary for Management PATRICK KENNEDY, two assistant secretaries and the director of the office of foreign missions.

 

The four persons were career foreign service officers who have gained years of experience managing both the State Department and foreign missions.

 

This comes on the first week in office by President DONALD TRUMP, after his inauguration on Friday last week.

 

Meanwhile; the incoming Secretary of State, REX TILLERSON, is still awaiting confirmation by the Senate, before he can resume.
