United States Government pledged solidarity with Turkey in the face of recent insurrection and battle against militants Islamic State group.

U.S Vice President, JOE BIDEN made the pledge in an address to the Turkish Parliament during a visit for talks with the Prime Minister.

He said Turkey, like the United States, must remain resilient and must not bow to pressures from terrorists and militants.

JOE BIDEN also commended the people of Turkey for standing together to resist those who recently plotted to overthrow the elected government in the country.
