This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Wilson Owunari during a convocation media briefing in Port Harcourt.
The VC said about one hundred and sixty one students made the First Class honours for the years in review.
Professor Owunari explained that the delay in the exercise was occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic and the eight months strike by university lecturers.
The Vice Chancellor also revealed that the management of the university is in talks with diaspora partners to set up and Institute of Climate Change in the University.
