Uganda unveils dress code for Public servants.

According to a circulated from the Ministry for Public Service, public servants are demanded to dress decently.

 

Women are not allowed to wear dresses or skirts that are above the knees, just as sleeveless blouses or any clothing made out of see-through material are prohibited.

 

The dress code also does not allow female public servants to wear any tight-fitting clothing, just as flat, open shoes are also ruled out, except for medical reasons.

 

On the part of men; they are required to wear neat, long-sleeved shirts, jackets and ties, and trousers that are not tight.

 

The men are to avoid brightly-coloured clothes and to keep their hair short and neat.
