Nwosu who spoke during a media briefing in Owerri alleged that the security men who arrested him were from the Imo state government House.
He said the security men shot sporadically in the church before whisking him away to the Enugu where he was led into a waiting private jet which took him to Abuja.
The former Governorship candidate also thanked the Inspector General of Police who intervened and ensured that he was released.
While thanking God for sparing his life, Nwosu claimed that the initial intention may not have been just to arrest him.
