Our correspondent reports that the Primary Healthcare Workers Association of Nigeria is now asking the state government to transfer the salary of its members to the Primary Healthcare Management Board.
State Chairman of the association, DANIEL ATIEME said the change of mind was due the failure of the Local Government Service Commission to pay the primary health workers the consolidated salary structure.
ATIEME, who spoke in an interview with correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA, said his association has written to Governor NYESOM WIKE, whom he said has promised to transfer the salary at the end of this month.
