The Mexican government has also condemned a US suggestion that it may impose a twenty percent tax on Mexican imports to pay for planned border wall.
The Foreign Minister LUIS VIDEGARAY warned that US consumers would end up paying for the wall; as such a tax would make Mexican imports more expensive.
President ENRIQUE PENA NIETO has cancelled a visit to the US over the row, after President TRUMP said there was no need for the proposed talks if Mexico was not going to pay for his proposed border wall.
