To this end, Eze Igbuduya the second, His Majesty Eze JOSHUA EYIBA, has announced the dethronement of Chief M.O ROMANS as the Eze Emene Echi Igbuduya for alleged impersonation of the office of the Eze Igbudiya.
Eze EYIBA in a statement circulated in the media added that the Chief had collected rites due to the Igbudiya Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs on three different occasions.
After investigations the council said it has found Chief ROMANS guilty of other crimes, stressing that the dethronement is in order to ensure a lasting peace in the area.
The statement further accused Chief ROMANS of trying to disrupt the already achieved peace in Ekpeye group, adding that he has arrogantly disrespected the rules and regulations of the council and of the late Chief Eze ROBINSON O. ROBINSON.
When contacted, Chief M.O ROMANUS declined comment on the matter.
