President Bola Tinubu has constituted the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, has been appointed Director-General of the council, while Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, will serve as Secretary.
The Presidency announced the appointments in a statement issued on Saturday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
President Tinubu will serve as Chairman of the council, with Vice President Kashim Shettima as Vice-Chairman I.
The APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, was named Vice-Chairman II.
