Tinubu Meets Security Chiefs Over Plateau Killings

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu held a high-level security meeting to review the recent killings in Plateau State. The minister disclosed that the President is closely monitoring developments and has ordered immediate assessment of the security situation.

He further revealed that Governor Caleb Mutfwang has been invited to Abuja for consultations aimed at finding a lasting solution. Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja, Idris described the attack as a criminal act and assured Nigerians that decisive measures would be implemented to restore peace and prevent further violence.
