The White House confirmed that TRUMP and PUTIN spoke towards the end of a formal dinner but did not reveal what was discussed.
It said the extra conversation happened during a private meal of heads of state at the G-20 summit in Hamburg earlier in the month.
However; President TRUMP has reportedly condemned media speculations of the talks as sick, which comes amid allegations of Russian meddling in the US elections.
