There are mixed reports about the fate of former Minister of Petroleum Resources, DIEZANI ALLISON-MADUEKE who was arrested in London last weeks.
DIEZANI was expected to appear before the Westminster Magistrate Court in London, and the BBC quoted one of its producers reporting on Twitter that the woman was seen around the court in the early hours of yesterday.
However; Cable News, which is an online-based publication, is reporting that DIEZANI ALLISON-MADUEKE did not show up at the Westminster Magistrate Court.
The publication is quoting the Westminster Court saying that DIEZANI was not at its premises and was not represented by any counsel.
The court reportedly confirmed that twenty-seven thousand pounds was seized from the former petroleum minister.
The UK’s National Crime Agency is also reported to have applied for three separate cash detentions in the names of DIEZANI ALLISON-MADUEKE, BEATRICE AGAMA, and MELANIE SPENCER.
