The Trade Union Congress has condemned the suspension of the Unit Secretary of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria by the Rivers State Bureau of Public Procurement.

The Trade Union Congress has condemned the suspension of the Unit Secretary of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria by the Rivers State Bureau of Public Procurement.State Chairman of the TUC, CHIKA ONUEGBU, described the action by the Director General of the bureau against the scribe of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria as unwarranted.ONUEGBU who spoke on telephone with our correspondent, called for immediate withdrawal of the suspension in the interest of industrial peace and harmony.The Rivers State TUC Chairman said the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria has been directed to picket all offices of the Bureau of Public Procurement until the suspension of the unit secretary is withdrawn.
