The Supreme Council of Ikwerre Traditional and Paramount Rulers has resolved to initiate another attempt to reconcile Rivers State Governor, NYESOM WIKE and his predecessor and now Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI.The decision to reconcile the two prominent sons of Ikwerre was adopted at a meeting of the Supreme Council of Ikwerre Traditional and Paramount Rulers which held over the weekend.Our correspondent gathered from a reliable source that the Ikwerre Traditional Rulers resolved to send a delegation of at least three senior traditional rulers to visit Governor WIKE and convey their disposition.The Chairman of the Supreme Council and Paramount Ruler of Isiokpo, Eze BLESSING WAGOR confirmed the development to newsmen after the meeting.It may interest you to note that the Supreme Council of Ikwerre Traditional and Paramount Rulers have made previous attempt to reconcile Governor WIKE and the former governor, ROTIMI AMAECHI.The move was initiated when AMAECHI was still in office as Governor of Rivers State, while WIKE was the Minister of State for Education.However, the previous two reconciliation moves by the Ikwerre Traditional Rulers were rebuffed in the hit of the face-off between AMAECHI and WIKE.
