The Senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress for Rivers South-East senatorial District, Senator MAGNUS ABE has urged members of the APC in the senatorial district to protect themselves from electoral violence.

.Briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt, Senator ABE said it has come to the knowledge of Rivers people that the police in the state can no longer protect lives and properties of citizens, especially members of APC.Senator ABE said he was not in support of call for state of emergency but insisted that members of APC cannot continue to suffer humiliation and intimidation in the state. Reacting to the comment by Governor NYESOM WIKE that he will resume campaign in Rivers South East Senatorial District, Senator ABE urged the Governor to caution his supporters from destroying his campaign billboards and posters.
