The motion for the adoption of the PIG Bill Report was moved by Senator TAYO ALASOADURA and seconded by Senator GERSHOM BASSEY.
In his remarks; the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI, said the National Assembly has shown investors it was very responsible in enacting laws to govern the petroleum sector.
Senator SARAKI expressed the hope that the bill would get the assent of the President and open a new page in Nigeria’s petroleum industry.
