The Commissioner of Police, MUSA KIMO told newsmen at the Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt, that some detractors had been engaged in raising false alarm.C.P. KIMO, who was speaking while parading a set of suspected criminals, assured that the State Police Command has been working to make sure Rivers State is free of crime.The suspects include the kidnappers of EJIRA LAALE; the son of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor NDOWA LAALE.Another victim of kidnapping identified as BUNMI SHONAYA also narrated her ordeal in the hands of her abductors.
