The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three suspected armed robbers following a raid at their hideout along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt. The daily crime update released by the Police public Relations Officer, AHMAD MUHAMMAD said the suspects were arrested around 4PM yesterday.
The Police spokesman identified the suspects as GOODLUCK WORWU, CHARLES WOGU and ATOCHI EZIZIE. He said items recovered from the suspects include two AK 47 rifles, one K-2 rifle, five magazines, one hundred and thirty-five rounds of live ammunition and assorted charms.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
