The Rivers State House of Assembly is resuming sitting today, and top on the agenda is the screening of nominees for appointment as Chairmen and members of local government caretaker committees.The development was contained in a statement released by the Acting Clerk of the House, STANFORD OBA, which directed the shortlisted candidates to appear before the state lawmakers.The appointments cover twenty-two local government councils, with the exception of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government council that is still under the leadership of an elected executive.
