The Rivers State Governorship Elections Tribunal sitting in Abuja will today rule on an application filed by Governor NYESOM WIKE, seeking to strike out the reply filed in the petition of APC governorship candidate, DAKUKU PETERSIDE. Our Abuja correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that Governor WIKE through his counsel, EMMANUEL OKALA, had asked the tribunal to strike out some paragraphs in the reply filed to his defence by the petitioner. In a counter argument; the petitioners urged the tribunal to ignore the claims by the respondents and dismiss the application for lack of merit and competence. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, AKIN OLUJIMI who is counsel to the APC candidate, spoke with our correspondent on t he outcome of proceedings. AKIN OLUJIMI is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
