The regulatory axe of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has slammed on leading brewer, Guinness Nigeria. Media reports say NAFDAC slammed a fine of one billion naira on Guinness for allegedly re-validating expired raw materials without approval. Guinness becomes the second corporate organization to be caught in the regulatory web, after MTN Nigeria was hit with a fine of one point zero-four trillion naira by the Nigerian Communications Commission.
