The Presidency has dismissed the allegation by the PDP of plots to rig the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State.The Presidency is of the view that the outburst by the opposition party is another of its attempts to attack and denigrate national institutions. Senior Personal Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam GARBA SHEHU, wandered why the PDP would chose to attack the INEC leadership that is only a week old. The Presidential spokesman however acknowledged that President MUHAMMADU BUHARI did hold a meeting with the leadership of INEC and the Police. GARBA SHEHU said the meeting only served for the President to prepare INEC and the Police for the challenge of delivering credible elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states. Malam GARBA SHEHU is the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
