The Port Harcourt Branch Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, DENNIS OKWAKPAM has denied offering any apology to the immediate past administration in Rivers state

The Port Harcourt Branch  Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, DENNIS OKWAKPAM has denied offering any apology to the immediate past administration in Rivers state over the protest carried out by members of the NBA during their Annual General Conference held in Abuja last month. OKWAPKAM made the denial following a purported report making the rounds in the social media that he regretted the action of the Lawyers. The NBA Chairman who told correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA that members of the Bar are yet to recover from the closure of courts that lasted one year, also wondered why anyone would report that he had a meeting Justice GEORGE OMEREJI over the Judicial Commission of Enquiry investigating former Governor ROTIMI AMAECHI. The Chairman of the NBA in Port Harcourt however challenged the purported reporter to make public the said he granted to him.
