The Police in Yobe State has confirmed that six persons were killed after a suicide bomb attack on a church in Potiskum.

The Police in Yobe State has confirmed that six persons were killed after a suicide bomb attack on a church in Potiskum.
Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, TOYIN GBADEGESIN, told journalists in Damaturu that the male suicide bomber was also killed in the attack which occurred at Redeem Church in Jigawa area of the state capital.
He said the injured were receiving treatment at various health facilities in the area.
You will recall that ten persons were killed in the last twin bombings in Potiskum  on June 15th.
Meanwhile, Borno State Governor KASHIM SHETTIMA has praised the military for their gallantry in the face of an attack on Zabamalhari village by Boko Haram militants.
Nearly two hundred persons were killed in Boko Haram attacks in the north-east last week.
