The Peoples Democratic Party has commenced mobilization of grassroots support in Rivers State, ahead of re-run elections ordered by the election tribunals and the Court of Appeal.Our correspondent gathered that the move is based on the directive of Governor NYESOM WIKE to all elected and appointed officials on the platform of the PDP in Rivers State.PDP Chairman in Obio-Akpor, CHUKWU AARON confirmed the development in an interview with our correspondent, but said the move into the grassroots is not for campaign.Also speaking; a PDP leader Obio-Akpor Ward Fifteen, FRANK OWHOR confirmed that some members of the party have been complaining of neglect, which the party is out to address.You will recall that nearly all the elections conducted in Rivers State during the 2015 general elections, which were mainly won by the PDP, have been nullified by the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
