The PDP in Rivers State says the political intrigues surrounding the ministerial screening and confirmation of former governor, ROTIMI AMAECHI shows an abuse of democracy.
State Chairman of the PDP, FELIX OBUAH said in confirming the nomination of AMAECHI as a minister, the Nigerian Senate threw away its revered rules and the sanctity of the laws of the land.
OBUAH further said the action of the APC-dominated Senate also exposes what he described as the hypocrisy of the APC-led federal government that anchored its campaign slogan on anti-corruption crusade.
